I believe that when guests experience my food it should exceed their expectations. In my restaurant there is only one rule and that is that guests should open their senses to new tastes”.
Our internationally, award winning Israeli Chef, Eyal Lavy’s passion for food started in 1990 when he was accepted at Tadmor School for hotel management and during his first internship at “Bella Venezia”, where he learned the secrets of authentic Italian cuisine. Chef Eyal’s worldwide experience continued with his travels to Europe where he worked in a variety of Michelin starred restaurants specializing in a wide variety of foods including French Provençal, Spanish Tapas, Fish, Seafood to name a few.
Chef Eyal opened his 1st restaurant providing diners with a Provencal – Mediterranean menu, fusing traditional French Cuisine with his own original recipes. He went on to open further restaurants; a Spanish tapas bar with an Arab cuisine influence plus an Italian – Mediterranean style restaurant. In 2015 Chef Eyal left the restaurants to concentrate on providing consultancy to other restaurateurs.
In 2017 Eyal Lavy joined Gillham Vineyard Hotel and together with his team he has a vision to create Menus in balance between traditional and innovative refinement in an attempt to invoque regional perfumes, aromas and flavours. During his years in the restaurant industry Chef Eyal Lavy has created recipes and dishes that are a signature of his work to the extent that he has become a symbol within the culinary community.
